**The Role**
The FAMSPO Integrated Logistics Support Officer (Acquisition) will, under broad direction, be accountable to perform and achieve complex ILS work within an integrated workforce.
As the ILS Officer - Acquisition, you will have considerable level of stakeholder engagement and will liaise with stakeholders in relation to complex issues. You will be required to identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholders’ needs and expectations to achieve work unit and Defence outcomes. You are accountable to ensure that you have knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence’s mission and policy requirements.
As the ILS Officer - Acquisition, you may lead a team and be accountable to set work priorities and manage workflows. You are expected to be capable of building team capability through coaching, feedback and developing the quality of work undertaken by others within a work unit.

FAMSPO is an acquisition SPO delivering air mobility capabilities to support combat, humanitarian, diplomatic and peace-keeping operations. The FAMSPO ILS Section is part of a matrixed organisation with the opportunity to gain experience across multiple projects at varying stages of the Capability Life Cycle from pre Gate 0 through to Project Closure. The right person for this role will be an experienced and committed ILS professional that is able to demonstrate the adaptability and flexibility required to respond to the needs of their stakeholders. With ILS-related experience, preferably in an aerospace acquisition (project) environment, you will be able to use your initiative to make informed decisions and solve complex problems, using available resources and shifting priorities as the demand arises.
As a leader, you will be expected to be self-motivated and support your team to come together and excel in order to achieve organisational objectives, whilst continuing to pursue your own self-development goals. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills, including strong emotional intelligence, resilience and adaptability.
