**The Role**
Do you have experience and skills in Integrated Logistic Support (Sustainment or Acquisition), Asset Management or Contract Management? Are you looking for an employment opportunity in a challenging and highly complex enterprise?
Space Systems Branch has a number of exciting opportunities for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Practitioners to join the team and work in support of Australian Defence Force (ADF) Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) capabilities. SATCOM Systems Program Office (SPO) sustains leading edge communications technology in support of ADF operations, both here and overseas.
**About our Team**
Space Systems Branch acquires and sustains SATCOM systems, and is a trusted advisor of SATCOM systems for the Australian Defence Organisation. The team comprises professionals from various disciplines including project management, engineering, commercial, and logistics.
This multi-disciplinary team is composed of highly skilled and motivated Australian Public Service, Australian Defence Force and contracted personnel. The team works from Brindabella Park offices in Canberra and maintains close collaboration with other parts of Defence and other Government Agencies.
Key attributes:
- Demonstrated experience & knowledge of logistics methodologies, systems and procedures;
- Demonstrated experience or understanding of contract management, including compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures;
- Demonstrated experience in working within a team in a complex environment;
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills with ability to negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders; and
- Excellent organisational skills, self-drive and initiative with the ability to influence others to achieve results and business objectives.
