**The Role**
Integrated Logistic Support Officer, Acquisition - Mk54 Mod 2 Advanced Lightweight Torpedo

This role is for an ILS Officer within the Mk54 Mod 2 Advanced Lightweight Torpedo (AWLT) Joint Project Office (JPO). The role will require an initial 6 months in the Canberra Project Office before posting overseas to join the JPO in Washington D.C.

The primary role will be to review logístical outputs from Industry developing the ALWT that inform all aspects for the introduction of the torpedo into service and ensure the system can be supported from inception to disposal.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Managing the CoA logistic activities in support of the project.
- Assist with planning for logistic requirements between the U.S. prime contractors and the CoA.
- Development of logístical data for key stakeholders.
- Your ability to analyse, forecast and plan logístical support requirements will be key to allowing you to deliver outcomes.

MEOSPO is an integral part of Explosive Materiel Branch (EMB), which is part of the Guided Weapons Explosive Ordnance Delivery Group (GWEOG). Our team comprised of various disciplines (including engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services). We are located in Canberra, Penrith, Amberley, Melbourne and Rockingham (HMAS Stirling), and our focus is to acquire and sustain guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force.
