Space Systems Branch has a number of exciting opportunities for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Practitioners to join the team and work in support of Australian Defence Force (ADF) Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) capabilities.
SATCOM Systems Program Office (SPO) sustains leading edge communications technology in support of ADF operations, both here and overseas. These capabilities range from strategic and tactical satellite communication systems, to global positioning systems and communications networks.
**About our Team**
Space Systems Branch acquires and sustains SATCOM systems, and is a trusted advisor for the Australian Defence Organisation. The team comprises professionals from various disciplines including project management, engineering, commercial, and logistics. This multi-disciplinary team is composed of highly skilled and motivated Australian Public Service, Australian Defence Force and contracted personnel.
Key attributes:
- Knowledge of methodology, systems and procedures within the logistics management function;
- A well-developed understanding of Defence’s logistics disciplines;
- Demonstrated experience in working within a team in a complex environment;
- Excellent communication and customer engagement skills with ability to negotiate and build relationships with stakeholders; and
- Excellent organisational skills, self-drive and initiative with the ability to influence others to achieve results and business objectives.
