**About the role**

RAS is currently developing a Competition Administration System (CAS) to assist in the configuration, management and reporting of the multiple competitions held during the Sydney Royal Easter Show and throughout the year. This position will be a maximum term contract until late April to help deliver this project.

To be successful for this role, you will have extensive experience with testing methodologies and techniques and be highly experienced in designing, managing and reporting quality testing as part of a continuous (Agile) development pipeline.

**In this role you will**:

- Develop, implement, and manage the test strategy and test plan for the testing program working within an Agile environment
- Engage project stakeholders to endorse the testing regime
- Track the progress of the testing program and status reporting to project stakeholders
- Contribute to continual improvement in test process and procedure, updating documentation where required
- Plan, organise and control testing activities for the test team
- Defect management - responsible for defect tracking, communication, and resolution
- Commit to the team objective of delivering a high-quality product within agreed timelines
- Willingness to mentor peers and staff

**You will have**:

- A relevant degree in either software engineering or computer science
- A post graduate qualification in a relevant testing discipline

**To be successful in this role, you must have detailed knowledge of the following**:

- Proven Lead Test Analyst experience
- Demonstrated experience with the development, implementation and management of test strategies, methodologies and test plans for a testing program working within an Agile environment
- Experienced in interpreting business requirements to create test strategies, approaches and test cases
- Experience in Angular 9+ minimum, Angular 13 preferred
- Entity Framework
- Azure SQL database - with focus on query performance

**Desirable**:

- Experience in developing an Automated Testing plan from scratch
- Experience with Azure DevOps - Pipelines (Build & Release)
- JIRA sprint management
- Ability to consolidate test results and produce test summary reports
- Effectively communicate results and subsequent action to the project team and stakeholders

**You will be able to demonstrate**:

- A hands-on Lead Test Analyst approach, experienced in working with Agile methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment including maintaining a sustainable work pace
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Diagnostic, analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously when required
- Demonstrates continuous attention to technical excellence and peer review
- A positive attitude towards challenges
