We currently have an opportunity for a Test Analyst to join the Change Delivery team in Banking which provides a range of transactional banking services to Australian Government departments and agencies, as well as a number of overseas central banks and institutions.

As a Test Analyst you will work within an Agile team and ensure new and enhanced systems, services, configurations, packages and interfaces perform as expected, and the risks associated with deployment are adequately identified, mitigated and accepted by all relevant parties.

In this role you will:

- Undertake the testing of changes to enhance and expand Banking’s systems and products (e.g. new real-time payment capabilities driven by industry initiatives).
- Be part of a larger broader team of change delivery testers
- Have testing opportunities within the Change Delivery team on-going projects.
- Work in a dynamic team environment which adopts an agile delivery framework reporting directly to the Project Test Lead.
- Identify improvement opportunities in testing including planning, processes and automation to ensure testing delivers high quality outcomes of system integrity, stability and reliability.
- Liaise with other sections in Banking, operational staff in other departments, financial institutions and customers on their testing requirements.
- Actively participate and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Your team

Your background

We are looking for a self-starter who is highly motivated and driven individual with strong experience in all phases of testing (e.g. functional), preferably with a background in banking and/or payment solutions. You will require experience with Waterfall and/or Agile delivery frameworks. It is desirable that you have knowledge and hands-on experience in the delivery of test automation frameworks and tools and testing in an Azure Cloud environment. Experience in Confluence, Jira and Selenium is considered an advantage but not compulsory. Experience working in large programs of work interacting with multiple different teams and vendors.
