**Test Analyst - Data Projects (2 Roles Available)**

**Location**: Sydney CBD (Hybrid - 50% in-office)
**Contract Duration**: Initial 12-month contract with potential extensions
**Security Clearance**: Need to be Australian citizen who are willing to undergo Baseline Security clearance.

**About the Project**:
Join a premium client embarking on a strategic transformation to modernize their data management and storage capabilities. Now 12 months into the program, the focus is shifting from legacy on-premise systems to a cloud-first architecture, with **Databricks** as the central platform.

While the ingestion layer and foundational artifacts are in place, the business-facing data layer is yet to be developed. This is where you come in helping to build robust, scalable data solutions that empower business intelligence and analytics.

**Your Role**:
We’re seeking **two experienced Test Analysts** with a strong background in **data testing**, particularly within **Database and Data Warehouse environments**. You’ll play a critical role in validating data flows, ensuring accuracy, and embedding quality into the transformation journey.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and execute test cases for data validation and transformation.
- Write complex SQL queries to support testing and analysis.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to ensure test coverage.
- Contribute to test planning, execution, and reporting using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or HP ALM.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Test Analyst on data-centric projects.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
- Solid understanding of data testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience in Data Warehouse environments and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
