About the role:

We are looking for Test Analysts to support the delivery of a biometric onboarding solution for our client. You will collaborate with client, vendor, and technical teams to ensure high-quality outcomes through thorough testing practices.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and execute test strategies across SIT, integration, E2E, and UAT phases.
  • Lead testing efforts to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and maintain automation test scripts and tools.
  • Manage test infrastructure and automated test execution.
  • Continuously improve test frameworks for performance and scalability.
  • Design and run test scenarios, validations, and exception handling.
  • Support defect lifecycle and post-release checks.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 5+ years' testing experience with a strong technical background.
  • Skilled in Java or C#, Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Maven.
  • Experience in mobile automation and API testing (RESTful, SOAP).
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines.
  • Financial services or payments experience preferred.
  • ISTQB Foundation certified or equivalent.
  • Proficient in tools such as JIRA, ALM, Confluence, Zephyr.
  • Experience with performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) and observability tools.
  • Knowledge of biometric onboarding (e.g., IDVerse) and cloud testing (e.g., BrowserStack).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Location Requirement:

  • On-site in Newcastle 2 days per week.
  • Preference for candidates located in Newcastle, the Central Coast, or the Hunter region.
  • Sydney-based candidates must be willing to commute 2 days per week.
