**Position Overview**:
The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production team, ensuring high-quality output, efficient workflow, and timely delivery. This leadership role requires strong organizational skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan, direct, and coordinate the daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules and quality standards are consistently achieved.

- Manage and supervise production teams, including operators, technicians, and supervisors, fostering a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
- Develop and implement production plans, procedures, and systems to optimise productivity and operational efficiency.
- Monitor production output and adjust resources and processes to meet production targets, deadlines, and customer orders.
- Oversee inventory management for raw materials, packaging, and finished products, maintaining accurate stock control and supply continuity.
- Ensure strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) regulations, and other relevant Australian standards for the manufacture of nutrition supplements.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Research & Development teams to troubleshoot production issues, improve product quality, and support new product development initiatives.
- Prepare and manage production budgets, monitor costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, training, and development programs for production staff to maintain a skilled and compliant workforce.
- Implement and manage occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a production management role within a food, pharmaceutical, or nutrition supplement manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, and inventory control systems.
- In-depth understanding of GMP, TGA, and other relevant Australian manufacturing regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to identify operational issues, implement effective solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, budgeting, and reporting skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Industrial or Process Engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific or technical discipline
