About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Factory Manager for our Ormeau location. Reporting directly to the Factory Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high-quality standards. This role involves both leadership and hands-on work within our busy, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As the Assistant Factory Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring efficient workflows, supporting staff, and delivering production targets on time. You will need excellent time-management skills, a solid understanding of factory operations, and the ability to lead by example.

About You

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • A "can-do" attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A strong focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Forklift licence (preferred).
  • A current driver's licence.
  • Willingness to submit to drug and alcohol testing.
