The Hotels and Holidays Partnerships team has responsibility over the hotel partnerships strategy, commercial relationships across all H+H business verticals and the end to end supply of hotel inventory sold via Qantas Groups’ branded distribution channels.
The Connectivity and Operations Manager will be primarily responsible for the dynamic hotel feed connections across the Hotels and Holidays business, leading account management of the key technology partners from a commercial perspective and actively contributing to the evolving distribution and connectivity strategy, with the core objective of growing the hotels and holidays direct connectivity position.
In addition to this, they will play an active role in developing continuous improvement initiatives, working with a wide array of internal stakeholders to maximise the productivity of the partnership and procurement team, with a goal of speed to market and operational excellence across all dynamic product segments. This role will work closely with a cross-function squad including digital product and tech resources with interpreting connectivity documents, assisting with testing for future system developments, ensure optimal mapping and rate plan optimisation and play a role in troubleshooting issues as they arise via API connections.
The Connectivity and Operations Manager will work closely with the Head of Partnerships and the broader Partnerships team to assist in defining, building, monitoring and adjusting the Hotels and Holidays Partnership and Procurement strategy and developing the connectivity strategy. The role will require advanced knowledge and understanding of the distribution and connectivity landscape with the ability to constantly analyse and develop efficiencies to drive both business and customer objectives. As a leader in the H&H business, this role will participate in sharing knowledge and industry insights across the team, broader Loyalty business and the Qantas Group more broadly
You’ll have:
- 10+ years of experience in OTA distribution experience
- Tertiary Qualification in business administration or equivalent discipline
- Strong team leadership experience
- Experience in working within a cross-function squad
- Strong problem-solving ability and high attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management
- Proven relationship building and maintaining skills
- Unrivalled expertise in the tourism/hospitality industry
- A strong work ethic and a passion for drawing out and driving creativity and innovation
- Prioritisation execution and experience, driving maximum business value
