**Job Title**: Grid Connection Manager

**About**:
A global solar and storage leader with a strong pipeline of projects globally and in Australia. The company mission is to make clean energy accessible to everyone, and they are looking for a Grid Connection Manager to join the team.

**Job Overview**:
As the Grid Connection Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing grid connection projects for Solar PV plants. You will lead a team of engineers and ensure that all projects are delivered within the required timescales, budgets, and quality standards. You will work closely with external stakeholders, including utility companies, regulatory authorities, and government agencies, to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Drive GPS R0, R1, and grid connection related studies
- Assist with the delivery of generator connection packages
- Perform and review generator connection and power system studies (PSS/E and PSCAD)
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including AEMO, NSPs, engineering consultancies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other project-related documentation
- Identify risks and issues and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Ensure that all projects are delivered safely and in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress

**Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience in power systems analysis (PSCAD, PSS/E modelling)
- Knowledge of the electricity transmission and distribution industry
- Expertise in renewable generator and battery connections
- Ideally experience in delivering R0 or R1 packages
- Effective communication skills
