
Commercial Sales Representative

We are a wholesaler currently working with a number of large flooring retail stores, contactors and architects throughout Australia.
**Your future role**
We are looking to add to our team with an experienced Commercial Sales Representative. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and proactive professional looking to work within the building and design industry with a good customer base and an exceptional product range. Your time will predominantly be spent on the road as you engage and build relationships with existing clients, and forge relationships with new clients in the industry.
**Your Responsibilities**
- Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to your clients' concerns and needs
- Nurture existing client relationships and build strategies to increase their sales.
- Acquire new resellers through your own lead generation, utilizing your networks, connections and business know how.
- Create presentations to win bids and commercial contracts
- Make connections with designers/Architects/Project Managers to have Serfloor products specified in commercial projects.
- Achieve set KPIs and sales targets and contribute to overall organisational goals
- Ability to prepare reports and summaries
- Stay informed with current and upcoming industry trends, consumer behaviors, Interior design trends and new products to effectively sell and upsell to customers
- Prepare and plan weekly activities
- Work towards the common goal of expanding the sales department and managing a team of junior sales reps
**About You**
- Previous experience as a commercial sales representative or similar role
- Good to have: Experience within the flooring, home décor, design or building industries
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding stretched sales targets
- Ability to implement bespoke activities that result in positive outcomes
- Understand the important of customer service and building long term customer relationships
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proven ability to manage and nurture important stakeholder relationships
- Valid Drivers License

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
