- Location: Parramatta

- Fulltime hours

- 6 months contract

- $72 per hour plus super

As Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in driving financial performance and accountability across major housing programs. This role combines strategic analysis, hands‑on financial management, and close collaboration with project and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare annual budgets and forecasts in line with financial governance frameworks

- Deliver accurate monthly management reports and PMO financial updates

- Review and reconcile general ledger and cost centre accounts

- Ensure timely submission of month‑end and adjustment journals

- Partner with multiple project managers to provide real‑time financial advice and insights

- Support the Program Director with value‑add analysis for informed decision‑making

- Prepare detailed financial modelling and costing for project initiation and briefings

- Coordinate responses to ministerial, audit, and Treasury requests

Qualifications

- Strong background in budgeting, reporting, and analysis (5+ years)

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

- Advanced financial systems knowledge (ePRIME highly desired)

- High attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach

Desirable

- Experience in government or community‑focused organisations

- CPA/CA qualification or equivalent

- Understanding of Aboriginal community programs
