AJE ATHLETICA invites you to be a part of this new era as we have an exciting opportunity for an AJE ATHLETICA Assistant Planner, to join our Head Office Team. This role will lead the business through its next phase of growth. Working directly with the AJE ATHLETICA Senior Planning Manager, this role is responsible for the initial allocation of seasonal orders and the in-season execution of replenishment and consolidations for AJE ATHLETICA, ensuring appropriate levels of inventory to maximise sales and achieve financial objectives.
**As the AJE ATHLETICA Assistant Planner, your tasks will include**:
- Responsible for all aspects of stock allocation, replenishment, inventory management and reporting, ensuring stock is in the right places at the right time to maximise full price sell through.
- Creating initial allocation strategy, with guidance from Senior Planning Manager, accounting for OTB, product performance and trend and store feedback, to distribute inventory to Retail and eCommerce stores at style-colour-size level.
- Managing and coordinating in-season replenishment and rebalancing activities based on business requirements to maximise sales and sell through performance.
- With guidance from Senior Planning Manager, use analysis of weekly performance to take actions to trade and maximise profits.
- Assist in updating and maintaining the WSSI with a view to be responsible for planning and trading several categories, under the guidance of the Senior Planning Manager and Aje Athletica Buyer.
- Communicating with Retail and eCommerce teamsregarding customer needs, special product requests and inventory requests.
- Working closely with Logisticsteam to ensure orders are allocated accurately and arrive on-time in stores and online, communicating any necessary updates to key stakeholders.
- Conducting accurate and in-depth sales and stock analysis to make actionable and timely changes at store level. Maintain and monitor stock levels at the Warehouse and take action where necessary.
- Managing Model Stock Levels for all stores & products.
- Undertake other projects and tasks as directed by Senior Planning Manager.
- Reviewing and proposing system and process enhancements to improve best practice.
Inventory Management
- Responsible for accurate and on-time initial allocation of seasonal orders, incorporating seasonal strategies, analysis of sales performance, store inventory levels, store capacity, buy quantities and product content.
- Daily and Weekly analysis of sales and stock to make recommendations and action any store consolidations and stock transfers to maximise sales and sell through performance, ensuring appropriate follow up.
- Managing, recommending, and executing store transfers based on sales performance, ensuring a balance of store capacities and VM requirements.
- Allocation of any free stock and recuts as necessary.
- Assist the Senior Planning Manager in the OTB, planning, and phasing process.
- Building of new store stock packages, to present recommendations to Merchandise team and action any consolidations from stores as necessary.
- Creating and maintaining weekly updates on shipping status and seasonal allocation status at Drop/Store level, communicating to the Merch team.
- Coordinate and propose the Markdown and Promotional strategy, set up and execution in AP21.
- Manage markdown, monitoring stock into sale with a view of performance metrics last year & budget, by store. Provide data and insight to promotional performance.
Reporting
- Assisting the Merchandising team with weekly, seasonal and ad-hoc analysis and communicate accurate and effective recommendations.
- Analyse sales performance and monitor sell through, proposing and executing trading actions to improve sales performance and reduce risk to the business.
- Present in a clear, concise and accurate manner, detailed information regarding Allocation strategies.
- Provide data, insights and recommendations to the planning and buying team to drive revenue, conduct range reviews, develop assortment and buy plans, build the product strategy and budget.
- Regularly update and maintain correct delivery cadence in Style Decks.
- Develop strong understanding of store and regional specific sales trends and performance through data analysis and regular communication with Retail and Trade teams.
- Responsible for supporting the Senior Planning Manager with reporting of end of season analysis.
