OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Senior Product Development Manager and working closely alongside, you will assist with the research and development of new product introduction, coordinate product testing and registration, support with system setup, and execute key administrative tasks relating to product.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the product strategy and research relevant consumer, competitor and market insight to support the innovation pipeline
- Analyse emerging and future trends across relevant categories to identify possible line and category extensions
- Review INCI's for sample submissions, ensuring compliance back to brief
- Support cross functional departments with robust product presentations on ingredients, use, benefits, claims etc.
- Consolidate key product Information to support customer enquiries, including Investigating with external partners where relevant to ensure close off
- Organise and conduct internal/external lab and consumer testing as required (testing panels, consumer trials, HRIPT etc)
- Tracking of development quotes, aligned to budget
- Execution of packaging briefs for artwork design, ensuring mandatory information across multiple regulations are followed
- Proofreading artwork and managing updates for internal sign-off
- Work with external regulatory bodies to coordinate formula reviews and product registrations
- Actively drive sustainable packaging solutions with suppliers
- QC checks for development samples
- Process invoices and maintain budget tracking document
- AP21 system setup support, including any further integration relating to BOM and production.
- Production admin support, including raising PO's
- Management of component production, closely communicating with internal and external stakeholders to meet production timelines

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- Responding to enquiries channeled through Customer Service and Social teams as a matter of priority
- Submission of product presentations to wider team in line with marketing and educational calendar commitments
- Accuracy of data within packaging briefs and final artwork
- Adherence to NPD timelines and deadlines, flagging at risk milestones prior to the due date
- Create and share a quarterly analysis of emerging and future trends across relevant categories, leverage key insights within existing and future NPD pipeline.

KEY COMPETENCIES
- At least 3 years product development experience in the beauty / health Industry.
- Strong understanding of the product development and production lifecycle, with experience working with international suppliers
- Exposure to international cosmetics and food regulation is highly regarded
- Possess a positive personality and the ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment
- Possess a passion and curiosity for beauty and wellness
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to create strong stakeholder relationships, both internal and external supplier relations.
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple projects or tasks simultaneously
- Sense of urgency and ability to manage conflicting deadlines
- Competent in MS Office with emphasis in PowerPoint and Excel
- Demonstrates proactive approach to problem solving
