We are currently seeking a **_People & Culture Business Partner _**to join the Industrials & Resources Team. Based in our office at Southbank in Brisbane, and reporting to the P&C Manager, this role will support our existing Industrials & Resources stakeholder groups and an Operations & Maintenance Utilities function that, due to a recent restructure, has joined our LOB.
**About the Role**
- Lead the P&C component for tenders, including strategic mapping of the portfolio to ensure alignment with the broader business strategy, especially within the new Utilities O&M
- Lead and support the P&C component set up including mobilization and recruitment processes, ensuring P&C project deliverables are met
- Regularly undertake proactive and comprehensive stakeholder engagement activities to consistently increase the level of business partnering and support across the portfolio
- Generate both regular and adhoc reports, including P&C metrics, analysis and the identification of trends
- Provide leadership and support to ensure the P&C team are compliant with UGL quality management practices
- Lead the coaching on ongoing development of operational Managers and Leaders
**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications in HR/IR or a related discipline
- 3-5 years experience in a P&C function, with comprehensive exposure to IR, ER and training
- Multi-site P&C experience in the industrial or resources sector is desirable
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels internally and externally
- High attention to detail
- Methodical and demonstrated ability to work independently, with discretion, to organise and prioritise demands, and handle complex tasks simultaneously, within a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to workplace change, learn quickly, and put new skills and knowledge to immediate use
Our line of business is primarily project driven around high-volume Outages and Shutdowns. You would need to thrive in a very fast paced environment as part of a high performing and collaborative team.
