Tempe Tyres is a leading tyre wholesaler with national distribution and well-established quality brands, and we are in pursuit of a results-driven Customer Service and Sales assistant to join our team based at our Adelaide branch located in Regency Park.

Reporting to the head of admin and warehouse manager you must be able to work to deadlines, be organized, have a strong passion for sales and be customer centric.

**Key duties and responsibilities of this role include**:

- Making warm outbound calls to existing customers to generate sale and following up on previous enquires or quotes
- Responding to all customer enquiries regarding product information, pricing availability, delivery schedules and back orders in a timely manner
- Receiving inbound calls from both internal and external customers regarding sales or enquiries
- Accurately processing and keying in sales orders and quotes
- Providing support and information to the field sales team

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Proven experience in sales and customer service
- The skills to upsell and cross sell at every opportunity
- A ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work under pressure
- A friendly phone manner and strong communicator
- An ability to think on your feet with good attention to detail

A background or interest in automotive, agricultural or industrial products is an advantage, although not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
