About the RACGP
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. For more than 60 years, we’ve supported the backbone of Australia’s health system by setting the standards for education and practice and advocating for better health and wellbeing for all Australians.
We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. We train GPs to deliver quality, whole-person care to patients across Australia, support their ongoing professional development and provide a point of connection for GPs serving communities in every corner of the country.
About you
As our, Operations Team Leader, you will have the responsibility of providing leadership and support to the Training Coordination Team Leaders, as well as the local and regional operation and medical education teams. You possess the following:
Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline
Experience in leading and supporting a team
Experience in project management methodology and change management
Extensive experience in a service delivery function with a customer centric focus
About the opportunity
The Operations Team Leader reports to the Regional Operations Manager and works with the local and regional teams ensuring the GP Training program continues to meet agreed program outcomes. You will be responsible for the following duties:
Deliver stakeholder engagement plans through guiding and mentoring regional and local teams
Case manage complex program participant relationships and issues through a dedicated concierge service
Provide accurate and timely program and policy advice to program participants when team members require leadership support
Employ best practice project management to ensure project outcomes are achieved
Drive continuous improvement activities across the region
Lead the training support team inspiring and motivating team members to foster innovation, creativity and high performance
