**About the role**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BASIS Team Leader to join our dynamic Information Technology (I.T.) department. As a BASIS Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in leading, coordinating, and inspiring the team to deliver operational excellence, collaboration, and innovation aligned with Officeworks' key strategies.

Some of the responsibilities would include:

- Lead, coordinate, and inspire the BASIS Team to deliver operational excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
- Ensure operational stability and adherence to service level agreements for the operational and security aspects of cloud platforms.
- Drive continuous improvement across technical and operational aspects of on-premises and branch office virtualization platforms.
- Provide input into estimation and resource planning for projects and business-as-usual demand.
- Contribute to the technical direction of the I.T. strategy regarding compute and storage solutions and services.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of technical services deployed across the Officeworks ecosystem.
- Encourage cross-skilling and contributions to all aspects of the team's scope.

**About you**:
A successful applicant will preferably have the following:
Formal Education:

- Appropriate tertiary qualifications at a post-graduate level. ITIL certification preferred.
- AWS Certified Associate Level and Microsoft certifications are highly desirable.

Work Experience:

- Minimum of 10 years of I.T. systems or DevOps experience, preferably with exposure to the retail industry.
- At least 5 years of experience leading teams of 5 or more people.

Technical Experience with:

- SAP ERP, CRM, BW, PO, HANA, SAP Gateway, Rev-trac, SAP Portal, etc
- SAP ABAP and Java systems running on a mix of AIX, Linux and various databases DB2, SAP HANA DB, Oracle and Max DB
- Experience providing/designing end to end solution related to SAP
- Upgrading/Migrations of SAP Platforms
- S/4 Hana conversions
- AWS/Cloud landscape

- Strong attention to detail.
