**Job Purpose**:
We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Shopper Development Manager to join our team. This pivotal role not only focuses on shaping and executing shopper engagement strategies but also places you at the heart of our Customer Development team, responsible for driving our category strategy.

**Your Mission**:
Data-Driven Insights: Utilize your strong analytical skills to uncover valuable insights that will guide our category solutions and enhance our market presence.

Bringing Strategy to Life: Your role involves translating category solutions into action, from New Product Development (NPD) to optimizing shelf layouts and eye-catching in-store Point of Sale (POS) materials. You'll be at the forefront of bringing our strategies to life in the market.

Alignment and Collaboration: It's crucial to ensure that our strategies are clear, well-communicated, and perfectly aligned with our broader team. You'll be the linchpin that keeps us all moving in the same direction.

External Partnerships: Beyond our walls, you'll also cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including retailers and partners. These collaborations are essential to our shared success.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Shopper Engagement Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive shopper engagement strategies that align with Hill's Pet Nutrition's goals and brand positioning. This includes strategies to drive brand awareness and sales growth through effective shopper marketing campaigns.

Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize strong analytical skills to gather and interpret data related to consumer behavior, market trends, and shopper insights. Extract valuable insights to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Category Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Customer Development team & key retail partners to contribute to the development of the category strategy. Ensure that shopper insights are incorporated into category solutions.

Execution of Category Solutions: Translate category solutions into actionable plans, including New Product Development (NPD), shelf layouts via JDA Space Planning, in-store Point of Sale (POS) materials, and other in-store activities. Oversee the execution of these plans in the market.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer development, supply chain and external partners, to ensure the effective execution of shopper marketing campaigns and category strategies.

Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, such as retailers and partners. Collaborate with these stakeholders to enhance shopper engagement and achieve mutual business goals.

Performance Evaluation: Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of shopper development initiatives and category strategies. Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for improvements and adjustments.
