We are looking a Shopper Activation Manager - Beauty & Wellbeing who will be responsible for delivering insight driven integrated shopper experiences through the omni-channel shopper journey to drive footfall, grow penetration and retail sales. These shopper experiences are not limited to but include all elements of in-store activation and POS, Category & Customer Purpose lead events; Targeted offers; and Range & Space in both the physical and digital store environments. This role will be responsible for budget setting and control regarding all shopper elements and work closely with CSP, Marketing and Customer Business Development (CBD) team to coordinate aligned through the line plans that achieve the category objectives. This role will be the shopper expert within Beauty & Wellbeing and the key customer contact for all shopper fundamentals in priority customers.
Role Responsibilities:
- Planning and Budgeting of annual shopper plans for Beauty & Wellbeing- Integrate best in class (global & local) shopper activation models and insights into the Business Unit- Lead, plan and execute the activation plan through the full path to purchase in consultation with the CBD teams- Develop, lead, and execute brilliantly major customer initiatives such as customer Lead Business Initiatives (LBI’s). Where appropriate be the key customer contact for key strategic projects and partnerships- Evaluate most efficient use of trade spend and make recommendations and support the business on future investment- Partner with CSP, Marketing and Customer Teams to ensure all elements of the shopper plan are aligned with the category and customer objectives- Partner with CSP to deliver Current & Future Shelf/e-shelf, aisle & department design enabled by shopper Insights & Analytics & future fit CiiC tools- Partner with CSP to deliver retailer assortment optimisation via Rich Mix & Space Planning- Manage relationships with our customers shopper / marketing teams
Does this sound like You- 5+ years’ experience, in a Shopper Marketing or Marketing role. Preferably cross-functional (Shopper, Marketing, Brand, Category and Customer facing responsibilities)- Understanding of Shopper Marketing practises and sound knowledge of retailer landscape, key channels, and customers- Strong ability to connect insight, strategy & execution to deliver positive outcomes- Standards of Leadership (Strategic thinking and writing; communication and storytelling; Stakeholder Management; Lateral Influence without Authority; Process Thinking (Discipline); Ability to join the dots and show the big picture)
Desirable:
- Expertise with using Nielsen, Quantium and IRi- Experience using Range & Space optimisation tools- Marketing & Brand Management experience- Agency management experience
