**Key Duties and Responsibilities**

RTO Operations Management:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the RTO, ensuring compliance with SRTO standards, regulations, and legislative requirements.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to support efficient RTO operations.
- Manage the delivery and assessment of vocational education and training programs across various campuses.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of training programs, making improvements as necessary.

Smart and Skilled Funding:

- Stay updated on Smart and Skilled funding guidelines and regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the utilization of available funding.
- Monitor and track the use of Smart and Skilled funding to ensure compliance and accountability.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify funding opportunities and secure additional funding for training programs.

People Management:

- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of trainers, assessors, and administrative staff.
- Recruit, train, and manage staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and provide professional development opportunities for staff.
- Attend to WH&S concern and raise necessary incident reports to relevant departments;
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise within the team or with external stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, employers, and relevant government agencies.
- Collaborate with industry representatives to ensure the relevance and currency of training programs.
- Represent the organization in meetings, forums, and networking events related to vocational education and training.
- Other duties and tasks as directed by our executive team and/or any other representative as nominated by our Board of Directors.

**Skills and experience**
- Demonstrated experience in a similar capacity within an RTO;
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to provide guidance and advice when required;
- Great leadership skills with demonstrated experience managing performance and motivating team members;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience liaising with diverse stakeholders;
- Excellent organisational skills and experience, including the capacity to manage complex work within legislated timeframes with a high degree of quality and accuracy, contributing to the team and IHM’s objectives;
- Experience working collaboratively with others to build and manage relationships through effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders, anticipating, and responding to their needs, and nurturing productive working relationships.
- Relevant qualifications and accreditations to support work functions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
