Role Overview

This is a pivotal position in the strategic management of campus facilities to create an engaging and inclusive campus environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with key faculty members and stakeholders to understand their objectives, goals and visions.
  • Identify and apply improvement opportunities that better serve the university and its community.
  • Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to optimize the university's estate portfolio.
  • Work collaboratively with other Asset Planning Managers to assess education, workspace, research and student space needs.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in architecture, design or related field.
  • Experience in space planning, with a proven track record in managing education and workspaces in universities or research institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of space utilization principles, learning space design principles, facility standards, equipment requirements and safety regulations.
