**Position Information**:
Muswellbrook Public School has an enrolment of 449 students, of which 25% are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, served by approximately 60 teaching, administration and support staff. The school is well-respected within the local community, serving a diverse range of socio-economic circumstances. The school is a proud member of the Muswellbrook Learning Community as well as the Upper Hunter Network. The school continues to deliver quality teaching and learning programs to improve student outcomes in literacy, numeracy and engagement. **Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach infants and primary with willingness and skills to implement extracurricular programs Choir, sport (Primary), Drama and Public Speaking and Debating. Capacity to contribute to a school culture that values professional collaboration to strengthen relationships and partnerships between school staff, students, parents and the wider community. Demonstrated ability to implement effective evidence based data-driven practices to cater for the diverse needs of students. Knowledge and understanding of and demonstrated commitment to strategies, policies and pedagogies to support the education of Aboriginal students.
