**The role**

Crown Resorts has a permanent opportunity available for an experienced Injury management Advisor to join the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team. Based on-site in our Barangaroo property, you’ll support a diverse workforce of team members to develop and promote proactive injury management approaches, with a key focus on early injury recovery and sustainable return to work.

Working closely with front and back of house operational teams and support staff, this role is integral in assisting injured employees and their managers following workplace injuries. You’ll provide genuine support and expertise to reduce the physical, social and financial impacts of workplace injury on employees and the business. You’ll also play a part in developing strategies to progress injured employees to positive return to work outcomes and/or claims resolution.

**Some of your responsibilities will involve**
- Ensure new injuries/incidents are followed up by regularly reviewing incidents and first aid register
- Liaise with all business units to ensure suitable duties are identified and coordinated in line with employees capacity and early RTW is achieved
- Manage and assess individual portfolio of workers’ compensation claims in accordance with legislative requirements and best practice injury management strategies
- Coordinate meetings with injured employee and Workcover teams (where appropriate) to ensure prompt determination of liability, and timely access to medical assessment/treatment
- Work with the WorkCover team in developing strategies to progress injured employees to positive RTW outcomes and/or claims resolution
- Engage employee, business and RTW coordinator in identifying and coordinating appropriate suitable duties in line with employees work capacity
- Provide injury management technical advice to key parties
- Maintain high level of knowledge of current internal and external requirements i.e. injury management system and process, best practice injury management, legislation
- Attend and contribute to regular file strategy reviews with business unit representatives to develop claims and injury management strategies in order to meet overall business objectives

**About you**
- 3+ years experience within the Injury Management/Workers Compensation/rehabilitation case management industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of the NSW Workers Compensation and Injury Management legislative framework
- Tertiary qualification in allied health or a health related field
- SIRA Return to Work qualifications is advantageous
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Passion for the injury management space and desire to make a difference in a large workforce
