**The Role**
This is a fast paced, hands-on true generalist role reporting to the Managing Director. You will solely be responsible for the delivery of a full range of services included in the HR and employee lifecycle for Knight Piésold’s Australian offices in Perth and Brisbane that also employs a number of international employees. Your key responsibilities will be (but not limited to):

- Management of company inductions both online and face to face
- Partner with the leadership team and provide recommendations and input into decisions affecting the people, culture and capability of the organisation;
- Provide accurate interpretation of awards, industrial regulations and internal policies and procedures;
- Provide generalist HR support, including assisting with HR queries, grievances, disciplinary matters and any other issues;
- Manage internal HR communications;
- Champion HR projects and initiatives to promote a positive culture and staff retention, including coordination, communication and promotion of Knight Piésold’s staff social functions and internal newsletter;
- HR reporting and administration
- Support, coordinate and provide advice on OHS matters;
- Previous experience working in a consulting or engineering environment (highly advantageous);
- A solid understanding of the FW Act, Modern Awards and safety legislation
- Prior experience recruiting across international markets (desirable);
- A demonstrated ability to consult, problem solve and influence at all levels of the organisation;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- A professional and approachable attitude, and the ability to respond tactfully to sensitive inquiries and complaints;
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks;
- Qualities of a self-starter with initiative.
