We are looking for a smart, driven and real person to join the Queensland Sales team as a Territory Manager.

**THE PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE**:
Reporting to the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing Warehouses, Trade Centres and Trade Commercial Stores for some of our biggest distributors within South East QLD.

As the Territory Manager, you will be accountable for continually advancing James Hardie’s growth of High Value Products within the Single Family new-Construction and Renovation segments. This is done by implementing the company’s Sales and Marketing strategies to strengthen our competitive position and deliver sustainable profitable growth - quarter on quarter and year on year.

**THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE ARE**:

- Strategically plan and align to:

- National growth plans at Warehouse, Trade Centre and Trade Commercial team level. Additional focus on key hot spots
- A structured call cycle and deploy metrics to increase effectiveness of 3rd Party Vendor Refill agency in defined region or geography
- Deliver our Value Proposition to store level and Trade Commercial team to drive engagement and enthusiasm to sell James Hardie High Value Products - focused on Small to Medium builder.
- Strategically identifying key ‘enabler’ stakeholders in defined region or geography and engaging effectively for desired business outcomes i.e State Managers, Area Sales Manager, Learning and Development, Trade Specialist Managers
- Within Warehouses, Trade Centres and Trade Commercial Sales Team in defined region or geography:

- Build customer capability and focus on James Hardie products
- Drive Scalable Programs
- Drive in-store and out of store marketing activation
- Train and enable key stores on how to sell James Hardie Fibre Cement vs Render/Brick to the builder
- Connect End User Demand to stores
- In alignment with Key Account Manager and National Account Manager, manage, maintain and report on key deliverables and KPIs progress incorporating constant evaluation of strategic execution
- Share wins, insights and best practice for replication by others

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THESE**:
**SKILLS**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to shift seamlessly between strategic and tactical thinking to deliver outcomes
- Ability to operate within a team and work cross functionally
- Openness to both provide and receive feedback
- Ability to effectively manage multiple small - medium builders through a sales funnel for conversion
- Be data driven in approach utilizing a combination of ‘sales in’ and ‘sales out’ data

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline would be highly regarded and support career development within the organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM would be desirable

**EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum **3** years sales experience with a proven track record in business development
- Experience in delivering training programs to build customers capability
- Experience in presenting to groups of builders on new products
- Building industry experience preferred but not essential
