We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assessing Coordinator to join our team, someone who can manage complex workflows, build strong stakeholder relationships, and contribute to a seamless claims process.
As an Assessing Coordinator, you'll be accountable for managing the assessing workflow from claim lodgement through to vehicle repair. You'll be the key support contact for Assessors, Repairers, and Customers delivering exceptional service at every step of the journey. Your coordination helps reduce delays and gives customers peace of mind in a challenging time.
**What you’ll do**:
- Deliver professional and empathetic service to customers, assessors, repairers, and stakeholders
- Coordinate assessment bookings and manage workflows from lodgement through to repair
- Allocate assessments based on claim complexity, customer needs, and assessor availability
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the Claim Centre system
- Identify and escalate risks, sensitive claims, or potential fraudulent activity
- Support assessors with administrative tasks
- Respond to inbound call customer queries, complaints, and requests within agreed timeframes
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to drive efficient claim outcomes
- Share performance updates, customer insights, and process improvement ideas with your leader
**What you’ll bring**:
- Proven experience in customer service roles
- Knowledge of general insurance and/or claims is desired
- Strong customer service mindset with empathy and care
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Resilient and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment
