As an Assessment Coordinator you will use your attention to detail and expertise to assist candidates through their ADF careers application process. You will book and coordinate assessment logistics, support our assessment teams, collaborate with stakeholders and provide exceptional candidate care.

Job Description
As the ADF Assessment Coordinator, you are responsible for overseeing and coordinating assessment booking process that is essential to identify and select qualified candidates for service within the ADF. Your role requires a keen attention to detail, able to manage multiple activities and tasks, work with different programs and systems and deliver on key business goals and objectives.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that assessments are booked in line with key priorities to ensure future capability for the ADF. By managing assessment logistics, providing guidance to assessment teams, and working closely with internal stakeholders, you contribute directly to the ADF's mission of recruiting individuals who embody the core values and readiness essential to military service.
You will:
- Coordinate and manage scheduling of candidate assessments, including assessment sessions, in line with the requirements and priorities of the wider DFR Recruiting Operations function. Ensuring communication of upcoming sessions is cascaded.
- Maintain a deep understanding of targets and pipelines, scheduling candidates to align to these.
- Build and maintain strong and collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure a one team approach to delivering an exceptional candidate experience overall.
- Monitor operational compliance of assessment sessions/activities, conducting regular process reviews, identifying opportunities to maximise the candidate experience and contribute to 100% target achievement in 100 days.
- Maintain open communication to ensure all relevant stakeholders across DFR, including subcontractors, are aware of the scheduled sessions/activities, and the requirements for their support and input in upcoming assessment sessions/activities.
- Monitor the recruitment pipeline to identify opportunities to bring candidates that are assessment ready through.

Your background will demonstrate:
- Ability to manage and coordinate processes, schedules, and resources effectively. This includes managing multiple tasks at once, prioritising duties, and ensuring all assessment activities are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to interact with external candidates, ADF personnel, and other stakeholders. This includes providing clear guidance, support, and feedback, as well as facilitating a positive assessment experience.
- Precision in managing and reviewing assessment documentation, records, and candidate information. Ensuring all details are accurately recorded and maintained, and all assessment procedures comply with ADF standards and protocols.
