**The Opportunity**

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Systems Specialist to join our Melbourne-based Quality Team on a **6 month fixed term contract** supporting our BAA Operations.

The Quality Systems Specialist will maintain and continuously improve the Functions system compliance assurance provisions, support and assist with compliance assurance activities, and be instrumental in helping ensure the organisation meets its regulatory compliance requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain Quality directives, policies, processes, procedures and metrics
- Coordinating and collaborating with project and functional leadership teams
- Conduct system and process level audits to determine compliance with Quality Management System standards, configuration assurance, related business, regulatory and customer requirements and report results to management
- Developing, implementing and maintaining quality directives, policies, plans, processes and local work instructions
- Tracking, monitoring and measuring the health and performance of the local quality management system and driving, as necessary, remediation response to any lagging and negative leading indicators
- Collects and verifies data to support the identification of root cause routine problems
- Provides ideas and concepts for corrective action development
- Assists in review of proposals, contracts, regulatory, program and customer requirements to prepare quality assurance plans and tests for hardware and software products, processes and services

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Technical experience and/or knowledge in Quality Management Systems
- Experience with records management
- Experience in data analysis and generating metrics reports
- Experience with tracking, reporting, gathering and analyzing data to produce a clear and concise message
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with staff at all levels
- Experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications Proficient with MS office suite of tools
