**About the Role**
Council currently has an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to lead our generalist team consisting of 2 business partners and 2 advisors in providing the full range of ER/IR advisory services to managers and staff, as well as providing support to the Manager People and Culture.
Internally the position is known as Senior Coordinator Employee Relations and Workforce Strategy.
**About You**
Tertiary qualified, you will ideally have experience working in an organisation that has a mix of professional, office and trades/outdoor staff and a strong client satisfaction/customer service culture.
Your professional background will include a track record of resolving a wide range of employee/industrial relations issues through negotiation and facilitation, excellent judgement and attention to detail and a passion for building the skills and knowledge of your team.
In addition, you will also have:
- Proven skills in providing an internal HR advisory service with a focus on excellent customer service
- Demonstrated ability to rely on your own judgement and reasoning to develop solutions to problems and in your approach to your work more generally
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and supporting managers in effectively addressing performance management issues
- Experience in leading and managing a small HR team simultaneous to supporting senior management and/or the Executive Team
- Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing detailed and accurate reports for senior management and Council
- Strong level of PC literacy with experience developing, collating and reviewing HR metrics to assist decision-making
Your commencing annual salary will range from **$135,097.20 + Superannuation, **dependent on your experience and qualifications.
