**Your new role**

As Manager Financial Services you’ll responsible for the leadership and management of Council’s finance team in the provision of financial services, both internal and external, incorporating a range of key finance functions including monthly reporting, annual budget process, long term financial planning, financial and statutory reporting, business systems and legislative compliance.

You'll contribute to the development and achievement of Council, Organisational, Divisional and Branch goals, also you'll foster and lead a commitment to customer service excellence.

**What you'll need to succeed***
- Significant experience in the successful delivery of a high performing Financial Services function within a diverse organisation.
- Extensive background in financial management and strong understanding of financial accounting and management accounting principles, including budgeting and forecasting principles.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and organise work, both on an individual and team basis, within tight timeframes and in an environment of change and conflicting demands.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline: CPA / CA qualified.
- Experience using Technology One Finance System or another similar finance system.
