We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Development Manager (ADM) to join our residential apartments team within the Development Business located at Barangaroo, Sydney.
As an ADM you will assist the Senior Development Manager (SDM) and the Development team on a landmark residential development, **One Circular Quay**. You will provide support to and participate in the design and delivery of the project to ensure successful execution in accordance with the agreed milestones and deliverables and in compliance with quality, safety and sustainability standards.
Reporting to the SDM, you will work as part of an integrated Lendlease team, alongside the Development Project Management, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Cost Planning and Building teams. You will be required to assist the SDM and Development team to work collaboratively with the various business units that form the broader project with an uncompromising approach to quality. You will require advanced stakeholder management skills that influence customer focused and financial outcomes. You will require excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
The role will involve assisting and contributing to:
- Sales and marketing - conducting market research on target market drivers, demographics and competitor analysis to support and inform management decision making, input into the delivery of sales and marketing collateral, sales suite design and delivery and preparation for sales launch
- Design and product development - assist in the design development of the project, refining product in line with the development brief
- Consultant management - engaging, briefing and managing relevant consultants where / when required
- Joint Venture & internal reporting - assist with the ongoing business and joint venture reporting requirements, preparation of documents and reports
- Contribute to the preparation, execution and management of the D&C contract which may include document collation, benchmarking, review of documentation and cost analysis
Required experience / qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Property Development, Planning and/or Construction Management.
- May have experience in development management and/or fundamental knowledge of Construction and Property Development.
- Planning, organising and analytical skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively on tight deadlines.
- Interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Culture is critical to the success of the project and you will need to bring enthusiasm, work ethic and above all, a collaborative approach.
Competencies include: Customer Focus, Planning and Organising, Technology and Process, Verbal Communication, Written Communication.
Essential Criteria: You will have experience in built-form development, ideally in the marketing, sales and construction phases of a project.
