As the Communications and Engagement Adviser (Major Projects), you will have the opportunity to work across some of the State's largest and most impactful health infrastructure projects.
Reporting to the Manager, Communications and Engagement (Major Projects), you will contribute to the planning and implementation of communication and engagement strategies for a number of priority projects, which will include stakeholder and community engagement, media/event management and creative content development.

Accountabilities
- Develop community engagement opportunities and messages to highlight the Authority's infrastructure projects and to reflect audience interests.
- Create post-engagement analysis reports including key themes of community interest, participant feedback and incorporate learning opportunities into future community engagement plans.
- Develop/contribute to strategies to manage issues, including identifying appropriate responses, engagement and communication channels.
- Produce, write and edit high-quality content across web, mobile and social media services.
- Undertake day to day publishing tasks as required and according to established guidelines.
- Assist in the planning of and participate in a range of community and stakeholder engagement events and activities.
- Maintain accurate community and stakeholder engagement records on Consultation Manager.
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
- Represent the branch on key stakeholder committees and groups concerned with achieving government and departmental objectives, contribute to relevant committee and governance processes.
