**The Role**
We are looking for an experienced communications professional with exceptional writing skills to help deliver engaging and creative communications aimed at building an inclusive, safe and positive workplace.
The responsibilities of the Internal Communications Adviser will include:
- Writing, editing and producing high-quality web-based content, presentations, reports, online newsletters and promotional material
- Providing editorial support for the development and implementation of communications strategies and plans for key content and communications channels
- Planning, documenting and tracking delivery of key communication activities
- Deliver high quality in person and web-based events on time and on budget
- Create detailed process documents to help streamline operations and drive efficiencies across the team
- Be a trusted advisor and provide timely, tactical advice and support to stakeholders
**The Team**
The position of Internal Communications Adviser forms a part of the Strategic Communications branch within the Corporate Services group. This group consists of specialist functions including strategic communications, finance, investment and procurement, performance and governance, legal and legislation, people and culture, information technology and workplace services. Strategic Communications is focused on building our department's reputation and delivering on the Departments purpose by raising the profile of our key initiatives, investments and programs.
**About You**
- be able to successfully research and write engaging and effective communications for internal audiences
- have experience in the successful development, delivery, and evaluation robust communication plans
- demonstrate the ability to provide strategic advice and support to stakeholders
- have experience using a Content Management System to create, manage and update intranet content
- have proven ability to plan and prioritise effectively, set goals and high standards of performance
