Senior Adviser, Communications and Engagement

About the role:

The Senior Adviser, Communications and Engagement reports to the Manager, Corporate Services. The role leads strategic communication initiatives and advises the Commissioner and executive team on communications and stakeholder engagement matters. This role has responsibility for delivering strategic and forward-thinking communication initiatives, fostering engagement, providing public education, and offering media liaison services while offering expert advice to the executive team. Key responsibilities include delivering internal and public communications materials and strategies, engage with both internal and external stakeholders, lead external messaging and media relations, manage the website and social media platforms, share information with health providers and the public.

• Consumer focussed and skilled in using codesign with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to create novel solutions to complex communications problems?
• Able to navigate complex communication challenges, maintain positive relationships and align messaging with organisational goals and values?
• Committed to supporting safe and ethical healthcare in Victoria?
