The **Municipal Association of Victoria** (MAV) is the peak representative and advocacy body for local government in Victoria. We are seeking to appoint an **Early Years Adviser/s** to influence and advocate for local government and the early years sector in Victoria. The Early Years Policy Adviser/s will support local government through policy analysis, advice and advocacy, capacity building projects and by building collaborative relationships with other levels of government and key stakeholders.
This role will broaden your experience and provide you with an opportunity to make a difference. Policy areas of relevance to this position include early childhood education and care at the Commonwealth, State and local level, early years planning and kindergarten service delivery and reform.
You will have excellent research and analytical skills, relationship management and communication skills and some experience in a policy role in government, the public sector or a similar political environment.
The **remuneration **for this full-time position is between $105,000 - $115,000 per annum plus 11% superannuation, depending on experience and qualifications.
