Our client operates an award-winning early learning service inside the Royal Children's Hospital and is looking for qualified Early Childhood Educators to join their friendly team

The state-of-the-art service has eight rooms catering to 120 children in 8 rooms at full occupancy with abundant outdoor shared areas.

The service takes sustainability of high importance and considers it a priority to minimise environmental impact and teach children how to reduce their footprint. We are committed to using recycled and natural materials within our art projects or for in-room experiences, including loose parts play. A community garden project encourages children to plant fruits and vegetables, and they work with the in-house chef when it is time to pick them.

The space is architecturally designed with generous play spaces offering abundant natural light, open-ended areas and opportunities for play-based exploration for children under five. Environmentally friendly rooms have been designed to highlight the views of the surrounding nature.

The emergent curriculum offered by the service integrates elements of literacy, numeracy, science, music, social awareness, emotional intelligence and language development into a typical week underpinned by a Reggio philosophy.

**Your day may include**:

- Making children laugh while learning
- Create a stimulating, positive and fun environment for the children
- Ensure learning and development are aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
- Implement and evaluate programs indoors and outdoors
- Writing observations and analysing children's progression and development
- Develop strong relationships with children and effectively communicate with parents and carers.

**About you**
- Completed Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA Approved equivalent
- Ideally, two years of experience working as an Early Childhood Educator in a similar setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Positive 'can do' attitude and willingness to have fun
- Professional presentation
- Working knowledge of the EYLF and NQF

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
