
Learning and Development Team Leader

**About the Role**
**To be successful in the role you will be able to**:
- Coach, mentor and motivate the team to ensure they meet organisational learning and development objectives and performance requirements
- Provide direction and support to the Learning and Development consultants to deliver quality training, coaching and mentoring across the organisation
- Monitor team and individual staff performance to ensure all relevant performance measures are met
- Engage and train staff to provide high quality services and provide regular performance feedback
- Ensure administration requirements and reports are accurate and up to date, and report to management as required
- Assist with content development for the leadership programs and coordinate training activities for Workskil leaders
- Provide leadership to the team to develop, update and deliver training and support materials that are engage participants and develop competence. This should include inductions for new staff, creating and adapting training according to Deed and guideline changes, as well as remedial training and staff refresher training as required.
- Management of the learning and development helpdesk function, including recording, reporting, escalation and resolution of issues within designated time frames.
- Identify appropriate training needs across Workskil Australia through consultation with Operational Management, Performance Support Team, Business Improvement Team and Compliance Audit Team.
- Maintain adequacy of knowledge of funding Deeds and guidelines to provide training to staff regarding contractual and procedural queries.
- Adhere to the Integrated Management System and assist with continuous improvement activities.
**You will also be required to**:
- Have a strong knowledge of government programs, legal frameworks and legislation pertaining to employment services or the ability to quickly acquire that knowledge
- Work effectively with a culturally diverse range of clients, employers and staff.
- Qualifications - Minimum of Train the Trainer Certificate or equivalent demonstrated experience
**Desirable Requirements**:
- Previous experience in delivering training in Employment and/or Community programs to a high standard.
- Exposure to working within and internally promoting a QMS.

**Remuneration**
A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
