**The Role**
The COMSEC Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for the receipt, custody, handling, accounting, distribution, safeguarding and destruction of all COMSEC material and equipment held on charge or local issue. The COMSEC account is required to be maintained in accordance with the DEFCAMMAN.
The CAM engages with relevant stakeholders, offers expert advice, identifies and understands client needs in order to plan and deliver through the COMSEC Account team. COMSEC technical knowledge and experience combined with customer focus and team management skills are all essential to achieve outcomes for ADF operating units whilst continually operating within a regime of strict adherence to DCA and ASD requirements.
As part of the SPO team, the APS6 Technical Officer - Communications will work closely with, and in support of, the Acquisition and Sustainment teams and contribute by driving continuous improvement, reform and capability uplift within the team.

About JC2SPO - The Joint Command and Control Systems Program Office (JC2SPO) is responsible for the acquisition, integration and sustainment of command, and control warfare systems for the Australian Defence Force across the country and in operational theatres overseas.
JC2SPO acquires and sustains joint-information warfare capabilities that are mission critical to all three services of the Australian Defence Force.
Extensive exposure to COMSEC practices, materials and equipment. Experience may have been gained through recent COMSEC experience or formal qualifications.
A problem solver who is focused on achievement of necessary outcomes. With multiple stakeholders to satisfy and under the pressure of customers operational demands, you can plan, prioritise and communicate effectively to ensure that team efforts are appropriately directed to meeting customers needs and keeping them informed.
