We have an opportunity for an experienced and strategic Business Delivery Lead to play an important role in orchestrating and setting the direction for our cross functional delivery team, with a focus on driving incremental value - as measured through sales, retention, revenue, customer experience, and cost reduction.

The Marketing Delivery teams are tasked with the planning, prioritisation, development and operation of an enterprise-scale Customer Engagement Engine (CEE) to drive meaningful, effective conversations with prospects and our customers at scale.

What you’ll be doing (Main key responsibilities)

Accountable for the delivery of strategic prospect and customer interactions, the Business Delivery Lead will ensure we remain true to our commitment of being customer obsessed whilst driving efficiencies for the team and business value for the organisation. This role will work closely with marketing and broader stakeholders from across the business to deliver high quality, meaningful and timely customer interactions. This BDL is accountable for:

- Lead a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of high performance, by communicating clear expectations for each team member. Give effective performance feedback to team members and hold people accountable for agreed outcomes.
- Create a positive and engaged cross functional work environment, actively supporting the professional development of self and others.
- Collaborate across Customer Markets to drive maximum opportunities for an integrated prospect and customer communication ecosystem and drive the transition to an integrated, orchestrated, omni-channel approach.
- Strong cross functional partnerships and collaboration with other Business Delivery Leads to ensure strategic alignment, shared dependencies are understood and commercial value is realised.
- Manage operational priorities, carrying out rigorous backlog grooming, whilst helping business stakeholders understand resource constraints and priorities, timelines and dependencies.

About You

What you’ll bring to the table:
Accountable for the delivery of strategic prospect and customer interactions, the Business Delivery Lead will ensure we remain true to our commitment of being customer obsessed whilst driving efficiencies for the team and business value for the organisation. This role will work closely with stakeholders from across the business to deliver high quality, meaningful and timely customer interactions. This BDL is accountable for:

- Strong business acumen and ability to negotiate and influence a broad range of business partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills. Strong presentation skills.
- Comfortable working in a matrix organisational structure.
- Ability to articulate technical capabilities in business language to non-technical audiences and visa versa.
- High attention to detail and a strong understanding and capability to manage regulatory compliance for all direct marketing activities associated with customers data.
- Proven delivery excellence using a range of development/delivery methods (Agile, Waterfall).
- Proven experience with Workflow development and customer journey mapping
- Experience in PEGA/ACS preferred
- Excellent adaptive team leadership skills including the ability to foster a productive team (as well as horizontal) team dynamics.
- Ability to set and drive focus, managing a team around a specific objective to drive value.
