About the role:
As a Delivery Lead you will partner with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver technology solutions that enhance operations and drive value.
You'll be accountable for building and managing a pipeline of initiatives across applications and services, balancing innovation with operational stability.
Leading a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and analysts, you'll ensure high-quality delivery that meets business needs.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and deliver process and system enhancements that balance operational stability with agility.
- Maintain and manage a detailed pipeline of initiatives in collaboration with product owners, engineers, and delivery teams.
- Lead delivery of initiatives by defining business processes, requirements, impacts, and ensuring alignment with the systems roadmap.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery, including design, stakeholder approvals, development, testing, documentation, and support.
- Coordinate with project/program managers, business leaders, and vendors to prioritise initiatives, secure funding, and align third-party product releases.
- Ensure BAU activities (upgrades, patches, maintenance) are integrated into the delivery pipeline alongside incidents and service requests.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, operations, and compliance teams to ensure solutions are fit for purpose, secure, and compliant.
Skills & Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business IT, or a related discipline, with 7+ years' experience in Business and IT environments.
- Proven team leadership experience with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of project management fundamentals and delivery using Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering business process engineered solutions and managing a structured pipeline of work.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, testing practices, and how software, control systems, and SCADA integrate within Generation & LPG environments.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost drivers, contract implications, and business value trade-offs.
- Awareness of emerging technologies such as AI/ML, digital twins, and IoT in asset monitoring and predictive maintenance.
