The Office of the Secretary, Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure is seeking to appoint a **Government Relations Advisor**.

The Government Relations Advisor drafts and coordinates ministerial and parliamentary materials, primarily correspondence for the Minister’s approval, working with a range of stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your communication and stakeholder engagement skills in a high-profile and fast paced government environment.

Your integrity will be exceptional, and you will represent the organisation in an honest, ethical and professional way.

You will operate within a high pressure and highly confidential environment with tight deadlines, where discretion and diplomacy are paramount.

You will be able to communicate clearly and accurately, and respond sensitively to complex issues.

You will be an active team player, engaging with other team members to share information and collaborate on solving any issues or problems.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
