**Advisor Governance, Ongoing, Sydney**

An exciting opportunity is available to join the Secretariat team as Advisor Governance (Secretariat). This is an ongoing role which will report to the Manager Governance (Secretariat).

The Advisor Governance (Secretariat) is responsible for providing a range of secretariat and board support services. A key focus of this role is to engage with business units and various governance committees to provide secretariat services, including developing agendas and meeting minutes. The role also requires communicating with internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner, such as providing advice on compliance with regulations, policies and procedures.

***In this role you will**:

- Deliver secretariat and board support services to various governance committees and boards in the DCS cluster
- Engage with stakeholders for governance reporting and board support purposes
- Provide various secretariat duties, including managing the Forward Schedule and coordinating governance meetings
- Draft agendas, meeting minutes and deliver correspondence to stakeholders in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to support the delivery of governance solutions to customers
- Deliver activities that support broader divisional strategies as needed.

- Prior experience within a secretariat role will be highly regarded but not essential.

The Governance, Risk, and Performance (GRP) business unit delivers strong governance and risk management advisory and support services, promoting a governance culture, and optimising performance in the Department of Customer Service (DCS).

GRP also provides support to a number of Audit & Risk Committees (ARC), the Management Assurance Committee and advice re various Boards within the DCS cluster.

We are looking for an Advisor Governance (Secretariat) who can provide high quality services to our governance stakeholders.

Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $99,431 base plus superannuation
