**The Opportunity**

Due to an exciting phase of transformation and change, a new opportunity exists for a Head of Client Insights to join Gallagher Bassett’s driven Client Solutions team. The team are responsible delivering the new business revenue targets and highly connected in the industry to understand potential clients and other revenue opportunities.

This opportunity will see you contribute to Gallagher Bassett’s growth and retention agenda in line with the execution of the company strategy through thought leadership and the development of innovative customer insights frameworks and initiatives. You will be a key ambassador to ensure the client is at the heart of everything we do, and play a pivotal role in informing the broader client and retention strategy for the business.

The role is also responsible for leading the Insights team to provide client focused and highly professional suite of reports that support client retention and sales growth. This includes understanding and interpreting customer data, behaviours and feedback to improve our clients’ financial and reputational position.

**Additionally, you will**:

- Develop and deliver a suite of reporting that supports the Sales and Client Services team across client growth and retention, as well as providing insights to our clients;
- Engage with key business stakeholders in order to understand requirements and drive the formulation of strategic and tactical responses;
- Build and foster strong and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Business Intelligence and Operations teams, to deliver best in class client insights and analysis;
- Create innovative strategies and monitor lead and lag performance indicators, outcomes and external results for clients;
- Oversee the planning, delivery and execution of specific client communications, functions, seminars and client engagement activities;
- Contribute new product development, tender, quote and proposal preparations;
- Lead key business projects and contribute knowledge to tenders, proposals etc.
- Extensive exposure working within the insurance, financial services or broking industries, with significant leadership experience in client/business development, insights and/or business analysis;
- Previous experience in working across complex organisational matrices;
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, insurance acts, regulations and Code of Practice;
- Highly-developed skills in reporting, with the ability to deliver actionable insights from data and market intelligence;
- Highly-developed communication, reporting and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of organisation;
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and problem solving skills;
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
