This role sits within one of leading financial institution based in Melbourne with their head office located in Melbourne CBD, they require a Data Governance and Assurance Specialist for their team to support the data governance for the organization.

**Your new role**
This is an opportunity for a senior data governance professional, within this role you’ll be responsible for providing your expertise on data governance by working on the improvement of the data quality and uplifting governance policies, standards and processes, working alongside different teams and stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met.

**What you'll need to succeed**
As a Data Governance and Assurance Specialist, you will have the following skills:

- Strong experience in Data Governance
- Experience working with DMBOK/ DAMA framework
- Demonstrated experience in building Tableau reports
- In depth understanding of Data life cycle management
- Good understanding of data quality
- Strong interpersonal skills
