About the role
To provide an efficient and effective administration service to Outpatient Services by identifying patients who wish to exercise their right to be treated as a bulk billing patient and ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed and computer systems are correctly updated.
About you
- Identifying and contacting patients, through the referral system, and offering them a choice to be bulk billed for their upcoming appointment.
- Ensuring that all information systems are appropriately updated to reflect newly acquired patient information.
- Investigate avenues and participate in the implementation of strategies to legitimately increase revenue capture and/or generation in outpatient areas to ensure all revenue related processes are efficient and effective.
- Action all Medirecords rejections that arise from outpatient appointments.
