**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Team Leader to join us at our Ballarat Plant in a permanent position within a supportive team. Working under the leadership and guidance of the Manufacturing Manager, the primary purpose of the Production Team Leader is overall responsibility for the correct operation of machinery, manufacturing of product and packing of orders in the correct manner.

**Key focuses & responsibilities will include**:

- To ensure all necessary checks are carried out and to report any variations to the Manager so that corrective action can be taken.
- Manage a small production Team
- Ensure that all possible care is taken of processed panels so that damage and waste is minimised.
- Conduct training, safety talks and tool boxes
- Ensure all defective panels are removed from the line and not allowed into the process system.
- Check that panels are stacked in a neat and tidy condition.
- Ensure that all unsafe acts and/or equipment are reported immediately to the Team Leader.
- Ensure documentation is completed as required and relevant documentation is included as required.

**About You**

We are after the following experience, skills & traits:

- Minimum 12 months previous expereience an a manufacturing management role
- Must have a valid forklift license
- Experience within manufacturing environment
- Previous Machine operator experience
- Strong Computer skills/data entry
- Must live and breathe the Laminex “protect” safety culture
