**The opportunity**

The Team Leader is responsible for leading and overseeing a team of investigators conducting complex investigations and audit activities in the Investigations Ballarat Branch. This role provides support, advice and guidance to team members by setting priorities, managing workloads, in accordance with approved SRO compliance activities.

Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Managing and leading a large team of Investigators.
- Managing and overseeing the conduct of sensitive and/or complex investigations and audits by individuals or teams.
- Setting priorities and manage workloads by effective delegation and resource allocation.
- Managing team performance effectively through mentoring, counselling and conflict resolution.
- Contributing to the planning of strategic compliance activities.
- Ensuring all quality system requirements are met.

**Who we are looking for**
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- People management experience in leading, motivating, performance managing and mentoring a team of investigators
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills to conduct research to devise innovative and effective solutions
- High-level customer service skills to develop relationships with and meet stakeholder needs
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline is highly desirable.
